The city had a long and quiet history until the Civil War arrived to Franklin; an intense battle in 1864 destroyed much of the town and most of the economy. If a quick bite to eat on the run is the preference for the day, there is a large variety of fast food restaurants to choose from. The standard, recognizable name franchises are available but there are also a couple of local, one of a kind places too. Selecting one will be the hard part.
