A brief history of the Factory:

According to the Factory's official website, the building now known as the Factory was originally bullit in 1929 as a manufacturing space and has been the home of such Tennessee institutions such as Magic Chef and Jamison Bedding. Since its recent renovation in the mid to late 2000's, the Factory has experienced a magical transformation into a shopping and dining space that still retains its late 1920's feel.

The Factory is home to an eclectic mix of restaurants that serves everything from traditional fare to more modern cuisine. As a result, patrons will enjoy eating at the Factory's restaurants.

Open: Tuesday-Sunday 11 AM-3PM for lunch; 5 PM-9 PM for dinner.

Visit Stoveworks and enjoy delicious and authentic Southern cooking served with down home style in a historic setting. They serve lunch Sundays through Fridays from 11am to 2pm and are open Saturdays from 11am to 2:30pm.

Owners Chuck and Sheri Gordon have worked hard to create a friendly environment that invites patrons to have fun exploring a diverse mix of items. Furthermore, their prices on their merchandise can't be beaten by other area merchants. What more could you ask for?!

Open: Monday-Friday 10 AM-5 PM, Friday-Saturday 10 AM-6 PM, Sunday's 1 PM.
Located in Building 11, Ruth Hickman's wonderful world of stuffed animals, dress-up dolls and accessories is sure to please kids and adults alike.

Events at the Factory:

The Factory is also home to an ever changing mix of private events and events that are open to the public. For example, on the first Friday of each month, visitors are treated to live music and other events. There's also a weekend farmer's market and a flea market held every weekend that will surely make a Saturday morning lots of fun.
