Hello Everyone,

We are so excited that we are only 3 days away from the kick-off of the 1st annual Authentic Ireland Festival at O’More College of Design, Franklin, TN. The festival gets underway at The Factory at Franklin at 6pm on Friday, August 6th and continues back at O’More College from 8.30 that evening all through the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th.

 

This event is free to the public!!!!

 

There has been so much interest from people, in the music, dance and singing workshops that I have decided that all those who are interested, are very welcome to sit in on the workshops to observe the tuition, meet and talk to the teachers, learn more about the instruments and Irish music in general. Please visit the Welcome Table – Fáilte in the Abbeyleix Mansion (main building) and say hello to Ciara Dowling all the way from Co. Roscommon, Ireland and she will be happy to give you more details on this new opportunity. Look forward to seeing you so be sure to drop by and say hello!

 

There will be lots of kids activities, Roger and Soldier the mini donkeys, Rob the Balloon Guy, Face Painting and of course a Bouncing Castle. A great weekend for all the family!

 

On Sunday morning at 9.30am, there will be An Irish Christian Celebration featuring the musicians from Ireland. This is open to any musicians who would like to participate.
