Cheer/dance clinics for kids at two locations
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a cheer/dance clinic for kids on Thursdays, beginning March 8 at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Parkway in Brentwood.
Instructors are all former Tennessee Titans cheerleaders with extensive backgrounds in cheer and dance. The clinic is for kids in grades K-8 with skills levels from beginner to experienced. The curriculum includes cheer and dance techniques, choreography, leaps and jumps, tricks, games and more. Participants receive a special t-shirt along with awards and prizes, plus they will participate in an end-of-clinic performance.
The clinic is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and the fee is $90 for the six-week session. Forms are available at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park and the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way. Participants may also access registration forms on line at www.wcprathletics.org.
