Brief Description

This 5K Race is a Run/Walk event. Bring the whole family and run, jog, or walk the certified distance with chip timing. This flat course winds through Westhaven and will be enjoyable for everyone from the serious runner to the casual walker. Kids runs will be held following the 5k. Kids activities will be held in the “Hope Street” family area after the race.

Team Leaders

To create and join a team, team leaders will first create the team by clicking on the Team Captains - Create Your Team button above. You will then need to click the Register Now button and register for the event. You will select your team name from the drop down box on the registration form.

Resistration Fees

$25 until September 4 $29 until online registration ends September 17 at 11 p.m. $35 morning of the race Children 12 and under - $12 (all kids will receive a finisher's medal) T-shirts are available for all participants on a first come first served

Team Members

To join a team click on the Register Now button you will select your team name from the drop down box on the registration form. Or, create your own team by clicking on Create Your Team button.

Packet pick-ups

Packet pick-ups and on-site registration: Westhaven Town center at 1025 Westhaven Blvd, Thursday and Friday from 4 pm – 7 pm or race day beginning at 6:30 AM.

Fundraising

A fundraising page will automatically be created for you once you register online! You can then personalize your page by logging in to www.active.com/donations with the password you create and invite your friends & family to make a donation online. You will receive an email on how to access your fundraising page. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 individual fundraisers.

Prizes

Prizes awarded for top finishers in age group and top 3 Male and Female finishers. 1st place receives 2 tickets to Concert 4 the Cure and a cash prize. Prizes will also be awarded for the top 3 individual fundraisers after the races. Door prizes drawing held after the races …… items will be provided by Bink's Outfitters.......winners must be present to win.

Concert 4 the Cure with Heidi Newfield

Don't forget to purchase tickets for the Concert 4 the Cure that evening at the Westhaven Residents Club, 401 Cheltenham Ave. General Admission tickets are $20. VIP Experience includes dinner, open bar and a prime viewing area for the event for $125 per person. Tickets can be purchased with your race registration, at the Westhaven Residents Club, race package pick-up or at Concert4theCure.com. They will also be onsale at the race.
