What can't you say about Casey Beathard!?! BMI Songwriter of the Year in 2004, hits he's penned includes: "Walk A Little Straighter" & "I Got A Feelin' " by Billy Currington, "Right Where I Need To Be" by Gary Allen, "I Think The World Needs A Drink," by Terri Clark, "I Will Stand" and the super smash "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem," both by Kenny Chesney- the list really does go on and on!
Canadian born, Phil O'Donnell, came to the Nashville scene several years ago and signed with legendary writers, Ed Bruce, Neal McCoy, and Chalee Tennison. At that time, he also teamed with the then newcomer, Craig Morgan. Together they penned some amazing tunes that have reached Billboard's country music charts. The Craig Morgan project became even more spectacular when the 2005 hit song, "That's What I Love About Sundays," (produced but not written by O'Donnell) became the first independent (Broken Bow Records) release to reach #1 on the Billboard Country Charts since The Kendalls 1977 hit, "Heaven's Just A Sin Away." The Craig Morgan hit was also named the Most Played Song of 2005, by both Billboard and Radio & Records.
The long awaited second CD, "Creation" by critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Leslie Satcher is finally complete as her first independent project. One of the latest hits Leslie had a hand in writing is "Troubadour," recored by George Strait- the title track off of his 2008 CMA Album of the Year. Leslie is well known for the songs she has written that have been recorded by artists such as Randy Travis, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Riatt, George Jones, Gretchen Wilson, Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless, Vince Gill and dozens more.
