Mature driving course signup continues
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a mature driving course on Tuesday, October 11 and Thursday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road.
This program, formerly known as “55 Alive,” helps older drivers refresh and improve skills that may help in accident avoidance and fewer traffic violations. Each participant should check with their insurance company about discounts this course may provide.
This is a two-day course, and participants must attend both days. The course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-AARP members. Space is limited, and registration begins on September 15 by calling (615) 790-5719, ext. 10.
Williamson County Parks and Recreation is a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone may register for and participate in the department’s programs, teams, classes and events.
