Rick Wimberly appointed to WCS school board
The Williamson County Commission selected Rick Wimberly as the new Ninth District School Board Member at its meeting January 9.
Wimberly replaces Barry Watkins who resigned last fall. On January 10, Wimberly met with Central Office Staff in Franklin.
He will officially be sworn in at the January 17 School Board meeting.

Pat Anderson re-elected as school board chairman
The Williamson County Board of Education re-elected Pat Anderson to another term as Board Chairman at its September 19 meeting.
Gary Anderson was re-elected as Board Vice-Chairman.
In addition, Ninth District Board Member Barry Watkins officially resigned from his post after he and his wife moved out of the district he represented. The seat will be filled by the County Commission in the near future.
