Farmers Market's Growing Kids Educational Garden is a big hit! Kids planted the first seeds at the garden site, while farmers and city officials looked on. Classes at the garden for April and May are full, but don't worry. The class schedule and lessons for June will be released tomorrow and kids can start registering for June classes on April 21st.

Preparation of the garden beds is underway. This weekend, you can lend a helping hand to get the garden growing. Sunday is Mulch Day and from 1pm - 4pm, we'll be marking off the plant beds and mulching the pathways through the garden. If you can help out, put on your garden gloves and meet us at the garden, which is located in The Park at Harlinsdale Farm on Franklin Road across for The Factory. Bring extra shovels and wheelbarrows and the work will go faster. Let's get growing!
